Sydney, Sep 2 (NationPress) A man and woman have been hospitalized with severe injuries following a shooting and car crash in Melbourne's northern suburbs in Australia.
According to a police statement, emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a car and a truck in the suburb of Epping, located 20 km north of central Melbourne, around 9:30 pm on Monday, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
One individual in the car, a 23-year-old male, was found with grave injuries indicative of gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital.
The other occupant, an 18-year-old female, also required hospitalization due to life-threatening injuries resulting from the collision.
The truck driver did not sustain any injuries. Authorities stated that they do not suspect the truck driver was involved in the shooting.
