Amman, Dec 16 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with Jordan's Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II on Tuesday, commending his remarkable efforts in youth development, sports, space, innovation, and enhancing the welfare of individuals with disabilities.

In a notable gesture, Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II personally escorted PM Modi to the airport and bid him farewell as he departed for Ethiopia.
Earlier, the Crown Prince drove PM Modi to the Jordan Museum in Amman, where Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, the Vice-Chair of the museum, provided them with a specialized tour.

"In a special gesture, HRH Crown Prince personally drove PM Narendra Modi to the Jordan Museum," the spokesperson added.
PM Modi also addressed the India-Jordan Business Forum, emphasizing potential areas for strengthening trade, business, and investment collaboration between the two nations. King Abdullah II and the Crown Prince were present at the event.
On Monday, PM Modi conferred with King Abdullah II at the Al Husseiniya Palace, suggesting that both nations aim to elevate bilateral trade to $5 billion.
Furthermore, PM Modi advocated for a partnership between Jordan's digital payment system and India's United Payments Interface (UPI).
During this visit, the two nations finalized several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) encompassing culture, renewable energy, water management, digital public infrastructure, and a twinning arrangement between Petra and Ellora.
Following his visit to Jordan, PM Modi departed for Ethiopia, marking his inaugural visit to the country at the invitation of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, highlighting the increasing strategic significance of India–Ethiopia relations.
