According to police data, a total of 75,576 cases were filed across various crime categories, reflecting the law-and-order situation within the district. Despite the high crime report volume, Faisalabad police have asserted a decrease in crime compared to 2024, as noted by Pakistan's prominent daily, The Express Tribune.
Of the reported incidents, 15,593 cases pertained to robbery, street crime, and theft. This included 6,124 highway robberies, 1,420 snatching incidents, and 56 cases of road blockades. Criminals also targeted 145 homes and 245 businesses, including shops, petrol stations, and jewellery stores. Tragically, 14 individuals were killed in these crimes, with 98 others injured, as reported by The Express Tribune.
