New Delhi, April 15 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a conversation with Denmark's PM Mette Frederiksen, reiterating the commitment of both nations to collaborate intensively in various areas, notably the Green Strategic Partnership.
"It was a pleasure to converse with PM Mette Frederiksen today. We reiterated our unwavering support for the India-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership and our efforts to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors for the betterment of our citizens. We also addressed regional and global issues of shared significance," PM Modi shared on X following their discussion.
Reflecting on the high-level exchanges since the inception of the Green Strategic Partnership in 2020, the leaders acknowledged the growth of the partnership across diverse areas, facilitating favorable conditions for Danish investments in India aimed at promoting green transition. They also touched upon regional and global matters of mutual concern.
Prime Minister Modi expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming 3rd India-Nordic Summit set to take place later this year in Norway, where he anticipates meeting PM Frederiksen.
Denmark stands out as the only nation globally with which India has established a Green Strategic Partnership.
