Calgary, June 17 (NationPress) The Indian diaspora in Canada is buzzing with excitement as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Calgary to participate in the G7 Summit, following an invitation from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

This gesture unmistakably indicates that both nations are committed to rebuilding their rapport. We interpret this as a sincere effort to move past old grievances and build a stronger partnership moving forward."

Similarly, businessman Hardik Pandya, with extensive experience in Indo-Canada business, remarked, "As someone deeply involved in Indo-Canada business for many years, we are truly grateful for the invitation. Over the last decade, there has been a noticeable gap in relations between our two countries, and this invitation offers a significant opportunity to bridge that gap."

University Professor Anil emphasized, "The ties between our two nations should be robust, as they have been historically. There were misunderstandings in the past 2-3 years, but the dialogue has now resumed."

Oil and gas businessman Sani Sharma added, "It is clear that relations between India and Canada have been strained in recent years. However, to truly understand the complexities, we must analyze the underlying reasons for this situation."
