Shooting Incident Claims Two Lives in Australia

Sydney, Dec 2 (NationPress) A police manhunt is currently in progress following a shooting that left two individuals deceased in Australia, according to police reports.
Authorities in the state of Victoria disclosed that a man and woman were discovered suffering from gunshot wounds at a residence in Rye, a coastal town located 65 km south of Melbourne, shortly after 4 a.m. local time.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the victims could not be revived and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Victoria Police indicated that detectives are operating under the assumption that a second man escaped the location.
According to a spokesperson, “At this early stage in the investigation, it’s believed the parties were known to each other.”
A crime scene has been established while detectives from the homicide squad work to uncover the details of the incident.
Authorities are urging anyone with information, as well as those who may possess dashcam or CCTV footage from the vicinity, to contact the police.
