In a post shared on X, he stated: "Kicking off my engagements during my inaugural official visit to the UK, I participated in the CFAMM26 Minister’s Retreat at Lancaster House. I advocated for a reformed Commonwealth that is prepared for the future, addressing the needs of the Global South and stressing collaboration in areas such as digital public infrastructure, AI for development, disaster resilience, and economic growth."
Together with fellow leaders, he posed for a family photo during the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers’ Meeting.

Upon his arrival in London on Saturday for the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting, he was welcomed by India's High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami.
The Indian High Commission in the UK posted on X: "Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, has arrived in London to participate in the CFAMM26 and the Commonwealth Day Reception. He will also engage in bilateral discussions with counterparts from various partner nations during his visit."
During his time in the UK, Singh is also set to partake in the celebrations for Commonwealth Day occurring in London.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated: "India is among the largest contributors to the Commonwealth, providing technical assistance and capacity building. The Commonwealth, an association of 56 nations, serves as a crucial platform for deepening India’s ties with Commonwealth members, especially Small States and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). MoS (KVS) is anticipated to engage with Commonwealth leadership and representatives from several Member States. Currently, Samoa holds the position of Commonwealth Chair-in-Office."
Following his engagements in the UK, MoS Singh will travel to Chile from March 10-12 to represent the Indian government at the inauguration of the President-elect, Jose Antonio Kast Rist. During this visit, he is expected to meet with both the outgoing President Gabriel Boric Font and the incoming President Rist, along with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jose Francisco Perez Mackenna.
