Bishkek, June 29 (NationPress) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that to effectively address the ongoing conflict with Ukraine, it is crucial to put an end to the legislative eradication of all Russian entities within its borders, as reported by local media on Sunday.

"Equally important is the need to cease the unlawful actions of the Kyiv regime aimed at legislatively exterminating everything Russian, along with the rights of Russians and Russian-speaking individuals residing in Ukraine, rights that are, notably, protected by the constitution of this nation, yet have been systematically eradicated, especially concerning the Russian language in various sectors, including education, media, culture, and others," remarked the Russian Foreign Minister.

He further noted that Moscow firmly believes in addressing the fundamental causes of the Russia-Ukraine conflict to effectively resolve all outstanding issues.

"Primarily, as Russian President Vladimir Putin has emphasized on numerous occasions, this involves the dismantling of security threats to Russia stemming from NATO's eastward expansion, as well as efforts to involve Kyiv in the North Atlantic Alliance, with intentions to establish military infrastructure within Ukraine aimed at the Russian Federation," he stated.

Lavrov's comments followed his discussions with Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev, according to the TASS news agency.

In the meantime, Kulubayev, after meeting with his Russian counterpart, expressed that a "special partnership" has been cultivated between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

"Russia is among the few nations with which the Kyrgyz Republic has developed a unique partnership and allied relationship," stated the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister.
