Georgetown, May 26 (NationPress) Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, leading an all-party delegation, engaged in the 59th Independence Day festivities of Guyana in Berbice and extended heartfelt wishes to the citizens of this South American country.
The Indian lawmakers are visiting Guyana as part of India's extensive outreach campaign, Operation Sindoor, aimed at combating cross-border terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.
The delegation, under Tharoor's leadership, comprises Shambhavi Choudhary from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Sarfaraz Ahmad of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Milind Murli Deora from the Shiv Sena, and others, including Shashank Mani Tripathi, Bhubaneswar Kalita, Tejasvi Surya of the Bharatiya Janata Party, GM Harish Balayogi from the Telugu Desam Party, and former Indian Ambassador to the United States Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
