Tragic Incident: High School Student Fatally Struck by Train in Houston

Houston, Dec 10 (NationPress) A high school student was tragically struck and killed by a Union Pacific train in southeast Houston, which is the largest city in the southern US state of Texas, as confirmed by the Houston Independent School District (HISD).
The 10th-grade student from Milby High School was discovered deceased at the scene after the incident occurred around 7:35 a.m. (local time) on Monday morning, according to reports from the Xinhua news agency, citing local media.
In a statement, HISD remarked, "This morning, a Milby student was involved in a fatal accident near campus. The Crisis Response team has been mobilized to assist students and staff, and communications have been dispatched to families of Milby HS."
Furthermore, the district expressed, "The Milby HS community has faced a tragic and unfortunate loss."
The Houston Police Department indicated that the incident appears to be a tragic accident with no indications of foul play.
