Washington, April 18 (NationPress) President Donald Trump celebrated significant economic progress, highlighted achievements in foreign policy, and urged his supporters to secure a Republican win in the upcoming midterm elections during a Turning Point USA gathering in Arizona. “Our economy is thriving, incomes are increasing, investment is at an all-time high, and inflation is under control,” Trump declared. “Our workforce is prospering, our borders are secure, and America is held in high regard globally.”

He characterized the 2024 election as crucial, emphasizing that Republicans had “won all seven swing states” and claimed both the Electoral College and the popular vote. “That’s what you call a landslide,” he remarked.

Trump emphasized the significance of the midterm elections, stating, “We must win the midterms… together, we will do everything possible,” forecasting a potential “landslide” if voter turnout remains robust.

Regarding foreign relations, Trump asserted that Iran would “never possess a nuclear weapon” and claimed progress in negotiations. He noted that the Strait of Hormuz is “fully operational” but reiterated that a US naval presence would persist.

He also criticized NATO allies, stating, “They were utterly ineffective when we needed assistance,” while asserting that the US has established “the most formidable military the world has ever known.”

Trump mentioned that recent diplomatic efforts resulted in “an unparalleled ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.” He expressed gratitude to several nations, including Pakistan and various Gulf states, for their contributions, stating, “They have all been immensely helpful.”

On domestic issues, Trump focused on immigration and crime, claiming there had been “zero illegal entries” into the country in recent months and that violent crime has significantly decreased. He added that fentanyl trafficking has dropped “by an astonishing 59 percent” while illegal maritime drug shipments have plummeted “by 97 percent.”

He touted tax reductions, deregulation, and educational reforms as major accomplishments, asserting, “We enacted the largest tax cuts… the most extensive spending cuts… and the biggest regulatory reductions in American history.”

Trump also criticized Democrats for supporting open borders and opposing enforcement actions, stating, “Democrats aim to shield criminal aliens,” contrasting this with Republican initiatives to deport offenders.

The president framed the election as a choice between divergent visions for the country, stating, “If you desire a prosperous and powerful nation, you need to participate in the midterms and vote Republican.”
