Two Russian Oil Tankers with 29 Crew Members Suffer Damage from Severe Weather

Moscow, Dec 15 (NationPress) Two Russian oil tankers, carrying a total of 29 crew members, were affected by adverse weather in the Kerch Strait near the Black Sea, according to a report from TASS on Sunday.
The tankers, identified as Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239, each transported over four tonnes of fuel oil. Reports indicate that oil spills have been detected, as confirmed by water transport authorities, as per the Xinhua news agency.
Efforts for the rescue and evacuation of the crew are currently in progress, according to the report.
