Two Security Forces Lose Their Lives in Pakistan Operations

Islamabad, Dec 1 (NationPress) The Pakistani military announced on Sunday that two security personnel were lost in two separate military operations carried out in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province over the last three days.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which serves as the media wing of the army, revealed in a statement that an intelligence-led operation took place in the Baka Khel region of the Bannu district, resulting in the elimination of eight terrorists thus far.

During this operation, troops successfully targeted the terrorists' hideouts, killing five of them and wounding nine others.

In a separate operation, security forces neutralized three terrorists and apprehended two more in the Shagai area of Khyber district.

One soldier was killed in the initial operation, while a captain-level officer lost his life during the second operation, according to Xinhua news agency.

The terrorists that were killed were implicated in various attacks against security forces and innocent civilians, as stated by the ISPR.
