Pakistan: 22 militants and 6 security personnel lose lives in military operations

Islamabad, Dec 8 (NationPress) In a series of military operations throughout Pakistan, twenty-two militants and six security personnel have been reported dead, as stated by the military.
The operations were carried out by security forces in various regions of the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as detailed in a statement released on Saturday by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the official media branch of the Pakistani military.
During an intelligence-driven operation in the Tank district, nine militants were eliminated, with six others sustaining injuries, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
In another engagement, security forces killed ten militants in North Waziristan after confronting their location in the province.
Additionally, security forces successfully intercepted a terrorist attempt to assault a security checkpoint in Hangu district, resulting in the deaths of three militants.
The report indicated that six soldiers lost their lives during the operation in Hangu district.
