27 Honorees Chosen for the Esteemed Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award 2025

New Delhi, Jan 3 (NationPress) The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) disclosed on Friday the list of 27 distinguished individuals awarded the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) 2025 for their significant influence in shaping the global landscape.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) will celebrate the accomplishments of the Indian diaspora and is set to occur in Bhubaneswar, Odisha from January 8–10.
This prestigious award, presented by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will be delivered during the final session of this remarkable event.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award acknowledges the outstanding contributions made by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and organizations established by them, recognizing their remarkable achievements both domestically and internationally.
The awardees were selected by a respected jury-cum-awards committee, showcasing the remarkable accomplishments of the Indian diaspora across various sectors.
The MEA stated on Friday, "The committee, led by the Vice-President of India, with the External Affairs Minister as Vice-Chair along with other distinguished members, meticulously reviewed nominations prior to announcing their unanimous selections."
The awards underscore the profound impact of Indians residing abroad and their crucial role in molding the global narrative.
The ministry remarked, "The 2025 awardees represent excellence and commitment across diverse sectors, highlighting the strength of India’s global presence and the remarkable contributions of its citizens worldwide."
