Imphal, March 26 (NationPress) In a series of coordinated operations, the Indian Army, alongside other security forces, has successfully recovered 32 weapons, including some improvised explosive devices, grenades, and various other ammunition and war-like materials from multiple districts in Manipur, officials reported on Wednesday.
A defense spokesperson indicated that during the recent days, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, and Manipur Police have collectively managed to seize these items from five districts: Kakching, Imphal West, Senapati, Imphal East, and Bishnupur.
The recovered arsenal included an AK 47 rifle, Self Loading Rifle, 0.303 rifle, 0.22 Rifle, Carbine Machine Gun, Single Barrel Rifle, bolt-action rifles, improvised mortars, Carbine Machine Gun, and INSAS rifles.
