Abdul Sattar, AAP's Gujarat General Secretary, Exposed as Leader of Fake ED Team; Shocking Photos with Kejriwal Surface

Ahmedabad, Dec 13 (NationPress) The leader of the fraudulent ED team recently apprehended in Gujarat has been identified as Abdul Sattar, who holds the position of General Secretary in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the state. This alarming news was disclosed by Gujarat's Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, through a post on his X account. He also shared images of Sattar alongside AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, labeling them with the phrase, 'Kejriwal ke chelon ki asal kartoot' (The true actions of Kejriwal’s associates).
Minister Harsh Sanghavi continued to unveil more details by posting pictures of Sattar with Kejriwal and other notable AAP figures. One image captured Sattar shaking hands with Kejriwal, while another featured him with Isudan Gadhvi, the AAP’s candidate for the Chief Minister position in Gujarat during the state elections.
This exposure is poised to ignite further controversies, compelling AAP leadership to address the situation. Sattar, along with several accomplices, was detained for impersonating ED officials and extorting funds from a jeweller located in Gandhidham, Kutch.
The fraudulent group executed a raid at Radhika Jewellers and the jeweller's residence, successfully stealing gold, silver, and cash valued at Rs 22.25 lakh. Following a complaint from the jeweller, an investigation was initiated, resulting in the arrests.
The suspects were discovered with counterfeit identification and official documents that closely resembled those of the Enforcement Directorate.
Abdul Sattar’s alleged participation in this scandal has left many astonished, particularly given his reported role as general secretary in AAP.
Previously, law enforcement apprehended 12 individuals, including a woman, for masquerading as ED officials. They targeted the jeweller’s shop and home, feigning an official investigation before absconding with the stolen items.
This scandal emerges at a critical juncture as AAP prepares for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The exposure of this fake ED scam in Gujarat could potentially tarnish the party’s reputation, especially as it champions itself as a proponent of clean governance, according to political analysts.
As developments unfold, attention is fixed on Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leadership to gauge their response. Whether this incident is an isolated event or indicative of more profound issues within the party will likely become evident in the days ahead.
