Key Takeaways
New Delhi, March 20 (NationPress) Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the chief priest of Shri Kalki Dham and a former Congress member, expressed his sincere appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reaching out personally to check on his health after a recent incident.
He noted that although it is easy to criticize the Prime Minister, replicating his level of leadership and influence is considerably more difficult.
In a post on his X account, Acharya Pramod Krishnam stated, "I extend my heartfelt gratitude and blessings to India's distinguished Prime Minister, the honorable Narendra Modi ji, for his call today to inquire about my condition. While it’s quite simple to criticize PM Modi, it is incredibly difficult to be Modi."
This expression of gratitude follows an accident in which Acharya Pramod Krishnam fell at his Ghaziabad home, sustaining an injury to his forehead. His family took him to Medicity Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad.
After learning about the accident, followers of Krishnam began arriving at the hospital.
The incident occurred around noon on Wednesday when Acharya Pramod Krishnam was departing his home to attend an event featuring Swatantra Dev Singh, the Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister.
He unexpectedly slipped and fell, resulting in a significant head injury, with a wound approximately two-and-a-half inches deep.
Krishnam mentioned that he needed to attend a program at ITS College in Mohan Nagar at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, leading him to return from Kalki Dham to his home in Sector-3's Rajendra Nagar on Tuesday evening.
According to Pankaj Chahal, the media spokesperson for Shri Kalki Dham, Acharya Krishnam was at his Ghaziabad residence on Wednesday when he slipped on the floor.
"Krishnam has been hospitalized, and the doctors have successfully conducted surgery on his wounds, confirming that he is out of danger," Chahal added.
As news of the incident spread, numerous individuals sought to visit Krishnam at the hospital. However, doctors have currently restricted large gatherings, allowing only family members to be with him.
This incident has caused considerable concern among Krishnam's followers and devotees, many of whom have reached out for updates on his health, praying for his swift recovery.
After his discharge from the hospital, Hindu saints continued to visit his Ghaziabad residence to check on his condition.
Visitors included Shrimad Jagadguru Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, International General Secretary of the Akhara Parishad Narayan Giri, and Mahamandaleshwar Kanchan Giri Maharaj, along with numerous other Hindu saints and followers.
