New Delhi, Dec 12 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a notable interaction with spiritual leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam on Friday within his parliamentary office. During this meeting, the spiritual guru shared an update regarding the ongoing construction of Shri Kalki Dham, located in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.
As the chairman of the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, which oversees the temple's development dedicated to the anticipated Kalki Avatar of Lord Vishnu, Acharya Pramod Krishnam presented PM Modi with an ang-vastram and prasad.
In a social media post, the spiritual figure expressed, “Today, in the PM Chamber of the Indian Parliament, we were fortunate to present to the esteemed Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodiji, the progress report of Shri Kalki Dham construction, along with prasad from the world’s inaugural ‘Kalki Katha’ and an ang-vastram of Shri Kalki Dham.”
On February 19 last year, PM Modi initiated the temple's construction by laying the foundation stone and unveiling its architectural model.
During the event, the Prime Minister remarked that the land, historically significant to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna, is being filled anew with devotion, spirituality, and emotion as another crucial pilgrimage site is established.
PM Modi expressed his gratitude for the chance to lay the temple's foundation stone, underlining his belief that Shri Kalki Dham will become a vital center for India’s spiritual heritage.
Discussing the temple's architecture, he highlighted that it will feature 10 garbh grihas dedicated to all 10 avatars of the Lord, symbolizing a comprehensive representation of divine forms.
The Prime Minister conveyed that establishing the Lord in these forms would reflect a holistic understanding of divinity among the people.
He thanked the Lord for allowing him this honor and expressed reverence for the guidance of the saints present, including Shri Acharya Pramod Krishnam.
PM Modi characterized the foundation-laying event as a significant milestone in India’s cultural renaissance, referencing the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya Dham and the inauguration of a temple in Abu Dhabi, stating, “What was once unimaginable has now become a reality.”
