Bengaluru, Feb 10 (NationPress) The Charge d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, Jorgan K. Andrews, officially opened the U.S. Partnership Pavilion at Aero India 2025 on Monday, emphasizing the United States' dedication to enhancing defence and security collaboration with India.

“President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed the necessity to strengthen defence trade between our two nations. I am pleased to announce that, ranging from emerging start-ups to established defence public sector undertakings and the growing private defence sector, bilateral defence trade is on the rise,” remarked Chargé d’Affaires Andrews.

He further noted that the U.S. defence industry has shown its resolve to collaborate with India to deliver high-quality, technologically advanced defence equipment and systems that are recognized as the most operationally dependable globally.

Additionally, he highlighted that the U.S. is among the largest international exhibitors at Aero India 2025, showcasing top-tier American aerospace and defence companies that present next-generation aircraft, cutting-edge avionics, unmanned systems, space technology, and innovative defence capabilities.

During the event, U.S. government and industry representatives will emphasize and promote technology sharing, joint ventures, and industrial collaborations that bolster the U.S.-India Major Defence Partnership.

Chargé d’Affaires Andrews led a prestigious U.S. delegation, which included Consul General Chris Hodges from the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai; Brigadier General Patrick Teague, Senior Defence Official and Defence Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi; and Major General Ricky Mills, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs.

Peter McKenna, Vice President, represented Kallman Worldwide, which, along with the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Defence, organized the U.S. Pavilion at Aero India 2025.

Technical Sergeant Benjamin Huseby of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific’s ensemble, Final Approach, performed the national anthems of both India and the U.S. at the pavilion's launch.

This marks the 15th participation of the U.S. at Aero India 2025 — considered Asia’s leading aerospace and defence trade show. The U.S. will exhibit a variety of advanced aircraft, reinforcing the robust and expanding defence and aerospace partnership between the U.S. and India, which are both committed to fostering regional security, stability, and economic prosperity through diversified trade and strategic investment.

At Aero India 2025, over two dozen American exhibitors will engage with Indian counterparts, explore new business avenues, and showcase innovative solutions in aviation and defence. These companies will highlight advancements in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), fighter aircraft, advanced avionics, and defence electronics.
