Bengaluru, Feb 10 (NationPress) The Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, Jorgan K. Andrews, officially opened the U.S. Partnership Pavilion at Aero India 2025 on Monday, emphasizing the U.S. dedication to enhancing defence and security collaboration with India.

“President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have discussed the importance of strengthening defence trade between our countries. I am pleased to announce that, from innovative start-ups to established defence public sector undertakings and a growing private defence sector, our bilateral defence trade is expanding,” stated Chargé d’Affaires Andrews.

He also mentioned that the U.S. defence industry has shown its resolve to collaborate with India to provide high-quality, technologically advanced defence equipment and systems that are regarded as the most operationally reliable globally.

Moreover, he noted that the U.S. stands as one of the largest international exhibitors at Aero India 2025, showcasing leading American aerospace and defence companies that present next-generation aircraft, advanced avionics, unmanned systems, space technologies, and cutting-edge defence capabilities.

During the event, participants from the U.S. government and industry will emphasize and advocate for technology sharing, joint ventures, and industrial partnerships that bolster the U.S.-India Major Defence Partnership.

Chargé d’Affaires Andrews was accompanied by a high-ranking U.S. delegation, which included Consul General Chris Hodges, Brigadier General Patrick Teague, Major General Ricky Mills, and others.

Peter McKenna, Vice President, represented Kallman Worldwide, which, alongside the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Defence, organized the U.S. Pavilion at Aero India 2025.

Technical Sergeant Benjamin Huseby from the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific performed the Indian and U.S. national anthems at the pavilion's inauguration.

This marks the 15th participation of the U.S. in Aero India 2025 — Asia’s leading aerospace and defence trade exhibition. The U.S. will present a variety of advanced aircraft, reinforcing the robust and expanding defence and aerospace partnership with India, based on mutual commitments to fostering regional security, stability, and economic growth through diversified trade and strategic investments.

At Aero India 2025, over two dozen American exhibitors will collaborate with Indian counterparts, seek new business ventures, and showcase innovative advancements in aviation and defence, including unmanned aerial systems (UAS), fighter aircraft, advanced avionics, and defence electronics.
