Bengaluru, Feb 10 (NationPress) The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has called upon nations with similar values to unite in tackling global uncertainties and emerging challenges.

During the esteemed Aero India 2025 event on Monday, Singh remarked, “The Aero India event is a melting pot of cutting-edge, advanced, and essential technologies, underscoring its great importance. It acts as a platform for mutual respect, shared goals, and collective advantages. We must join forces to confront today’s uncertainties and new challenges.”

Singh further asserted, “As we fortify our connections, our achievements soar to new heights. For us, security and peace are interlinked concepts that go beyond borders. The presence of our allies from various nations reflects our united vision of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future.’”

He continued, “Peace cannot be obtained from a position of vulnerability. The foundation of peace is built upon strong roots of strength. To secure enduring peace, we must unify and remain resilient.”

In the current unpredictable global landscape, Singh pointed out, “India serves as a beacon of peace and prosperity. Our nation has never invaded another country and has avoided conflicts among major powers. As a significant player on the global stage, India consistently advocates for peace and stability.”

Expanding on this, Singh mentioned, “This is more than mere rhetoric -- it embodies our fundamental values. Defence ministers and officials from numerous nations are present here, alongside leading global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The robust presence of defence manufacturers highlights the significance of this event.”

He asserted, “Partnering with India aligns with our common interests. It is essential for global peace, prosperity, and stability. As we build deeper connections, not only do we thrive, but the entire world gains from it.”

Singh also brought attention to the theme of Aero India 2025, ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities,’ stating, “There couldn't be a more appropriate theme. India, with its population exceeding a billion, signifies a billion opportunities. This air show truly embodies that essence.”

“The Aero India event commencing today serves various purposes. The primary goal is to exhibit not only India’s industrial prowess but also its technological innovations to the global audience. This showcases our dedication to national security,” Singh emphasized.

He added, “Another significant aim is to reinforce our mutually beneficial relationships with allied nations. The Aero India platform has gathered government representatives, industry leaders, air force officials, defence experts, academia, and various stakeholders from around the world.”

“This convergence will bolster partnerships, ultimately benefiting everyone involved. While we often engage in transactional relationships as buyers and sellers, we need to transcend that -- aiming for industrial collaborations. We have numerous successful instances of co-production and co-development with like-minded nations. The potential for research and development is immense,” he concluded.
