New Delhi, Feb 10 (NationPress) The 15th Aero India, recognized as Asia’s largest aerospace and Defence exhibition, is set to launch at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Monday.

The theme of this significant event is ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities.’

Spanning over 42,000 square metres and featuring participation from more than 900 exhibitors, including 150 international companies, this edition is expected to be the most extensive Aero India ever hosted in the country.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the event, emphasizing its importance and the involvement of over 90 nations as evidence of the increasing global trust in India’s aerospace and Defence industry, with Defence Ministers or delegates from 30 countries attending.

“The presence of air chiefs and secretaries from 43 nations underscores the significance of this event - not only for India but for the entire global Defence fraternity,” Rajnath Singh stated.

He characterized Aero India as a vital platform to advance the Union government’s ambition of a strong, capable, and self-reliant India.

“Aero India demonstrates the strength, resilience, and self-sufficiency of ‘New India’. It is essential for India’s Defence preparedness and plays a crucial role in shaping our nation’s future. It will showcase our Defence abilities and establish international partnerships, aiming to enhance collaboration with friendly nations for shared progress,” he remarked.

He also noted that the event would not only highlight technological advancements and innovation but also inspire India’s youth, fostering a scientific mindset and innovative spirit.

The Aero India exhibition will take place from February 10 to 14. The first three days will be designated as business days, while February 13-14 will be open to the public, allowing attendees to experience the exhibition.
