Lucknow, Nov 11 (NationPress) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday lambasted the Union government concerning the tragic blast that occurred in Delhi on Monday, expressing concerns over persistent security failures and demanding decisive action against the perpetrators.

During a press briefing, Akhilesh Yadav stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged a thorough investigation into the incident, and the nation is eagerly awaiting the truth to emerge.

“A robust response to terrorism is essential,” he mentioned, emphasizing, “however, it is equally critical to discern why such occurrences persist and identify where the shortcomings lie.”

In reference to the Prime Minister’s remarks, Akhilesh Yadav commented: "We have complete confidence that the Prime Minister and the administration will uncover the individuals responsible for such a significant incident -- particularly in the national capital, at a site that epitomizes our independence. Such a heinous act at a location symbolizing the nation’s freedom is profoundly condemnable."

He remarked that the entire country desires an end to terrorism and hopes that such calamities will not take place again.

"We must have faith in the investigative bodies, yet we also need to reflect -- where are we falling short, and why do these incidents persist?" he questioned.

Shifting focus to the Bihar Assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav asserted that the initial phase of voting has clearly indicated a decline for the BJP.

"The first phase has made it evident that the BJP is losing ground in the Bihar elections. Half of the votes are already cast, and the electorate has voiced their decision. The Grand Alliance will achieve a decisive majority," he stated, adding that the SP "strongly opposes divisive politics."

The SP leader mentioned that his party is equipping its members to assist eligible citizens in registering to vote and fortifying the organization at the grassroots level. "This is not merely a political contest; it is a struggle of ideologies and vision," he noted.

Revealing the party’s new initiative -- the New India Vision Plan -- Akhilesh Yadav articulated that it embodies the aspirations of a progressive generation. "The new generation seeks inclusive development and believes in collective progress. Our Vision India Plan is designed around that ethos," he stated.

Recalling significant investments during his tenure as Chief Minister, he cited the example of Samsung’s establishment in Uttar Pradesh. "When Samsung arrived, we comprehended their requirements and met reasonable expectations, which facilitated substantial investment in the state. Investors are attracted when governments are supportive, not obstructive," he explained.

Highlighting the youth's role in nation-building, he asserted that the SP envisions India's future in its young demographic -- "a generation that not only seeks change but also possesses the knowledge to effectuate it."

Akhilesh Yadav stated that today's youth transcend traditional boundaries and embrace inclusiveness. "This generation prioritizes humanity, peace, and progress above all -- principles that lie at the core of socialist ideology," he concluded.
