“I bow down at the feet of Adiyogi. I feel incredibly fortunate to be present here at the invitation of Sadhguru ji. I sincerely thank him for this opportunity,” stated the Home Minister while speaking to a large assembly of devotees at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore during the Mahashivaratri festivities.
He continued: “Today, from Somnath to Kedarnath, from Pashupatinath to Rameswaram, and from Kashi to Coimbatore, the entire nation is infused with Shiva’s presence. The Maha Kumbh is wrapping up in Prayagraj, and here, I am witnessing the Maha Kumbh of devotion.”
Discussing the importance of the Isha Yoga Center, Amit Shah remarked that it has introduced positivity into countless lives through yoga.
He highlighted that the statue of Adiyogi symbolizes the 112 pathways to spiritual realization, guiding individuals toward the understanding that the ultimate aim of life is to achieve Shivatva (the state of Shiva).
He also commended the center for acting as a link to connect the youth with the divine.
“Sadhguru is imparting the way of living to the entire world. Through you, Sadhguru, the whole world is grasping Sanatana—that true knowledge involves self-understanding, and the path to transforming the world starts by transforming oneself,” expressed Union Home Minister Shri Amit.
He noted that today signifies the conclusion of the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
“I can perceive a Maha Kumbh of devotion here in Coimbatore,” the Home Minister added.
Reflecting on his experience at the Isha Yoga Center, he mentioned, "Visiting here allows one to embark on a journey from consciousness to collective consciousness, from self-interest to ultimate welfare, and from self to the universe."
Sadhguru also praised Amit Shah during his speech, stating that his contributions should be likened to those of India’s first Home Minister Sardar Patel.
He noted, “Since Partition, there have been numerous developments where the nation, although united on paper, had areas that were not entirely under the authority of the governing body. Our current Home Minister has implemented measures akin to those of Sardar Patel, once again uniting the nation.”
Sadhguru further credited the Union government for upholding national security, asserting that India has not experienced serial bomb blasts or significant terrorist activities for the past decade due to the proactive measures of central agencies.
He emphasized that a nation cannot thrive without adequate law and order and praised Amit Shah for his role in ensuring national stability.
The event was attended by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan, and other dignitaries.
Sadhguru later launched the Miracle of Mind App, which includes a complimentary 7-minute guided meditation. The app's goal is to help individuals integrate a daily meditation practice into their routines. It has achieved remarkable tech milestones, surpassing 1 million downloads in just 15 hours post-launch, eclipsing major tech hits like ChatGPT (1 million in 5 days), CALM (1 million in 4 years), and Headspace (1 million in 2 years).
