Coimbatore, Feb 24 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to join the Maha Shivratri festivities at Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation Yoga Center in the city on February 26. He will be accompanied by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar during the celebrations at the Yoga center. The all-night celebrations will kick off at 6 pm on February 26 and will wrap up at 6 am the following day.
“In a first, Sadhguru will conduct the Midnight Mahamantra (Aum Namah Shivaya) Initiation, a powerful chant that can enhance well-being,” noted a press release.
Later, Sadhguru will lead participants in Shambho Meditation during Brahma Muhurtham at 3:40 am, deemed the optimal time for spiritual practices aimed at transcending physical limitations.
An exciting feature will be the launch of the free meditation app Miracle of the Mind, which includes a 7-minute guided meditation. This app is designed to help users integrate a daily meditation routine into their busy lives.
The celebration will also feature a lineup of star performers to engage the audience throughout the 12-hour event.
The stage will host captivating acts by the renowned music composition duo Ajay-Atul, known for their contributions to Hindi and Marathi films; esteemed Gujarati folk artist Muktidan Gadhvi; popular rapper Paradox; and CassMae, a visually impaired musician recognized as the “German daughter of India” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The night will also present a variety of regional drummers, including Puneri Dhol, Punjabi Dhol, and drummers from Tamil Nadu, alongside multi-regional vocalists like Satyaprakash Dharmar, Addula Jengi Reddy, M.V. Shubha, and Anoop, as well as performances from Sounds of Isha and Isha Samskriti.
The Maha Shivratri festivities at Sadhguru’s Yoga center will attract a diverse array of guests from politics, sports, and entertainment.
