Bengaluru, Feb 24 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah is anticipated to attend Isha’s Maha Shivratri festivities, accompanied by various dignitaries, with Adiyogi and Sadhguru at the Isha Yoga Center on February 26.
An official announcement indicated that Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will also be part of the occasion. The celebrations will kick off at 6 pm on February 26 and wrap up at 6 am on February 27.
Among those attending are Governor of Odisha Hari Babu Kambhampati; Governor of Punjab Gulab Chand Kataria; Union Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal; Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan; Maharashtra Minister of Soil and Water Conservation Sanjay Rathod; along with MLAs from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
They will be joined by famous actors, musicians, performers, business leaders, and sports figures at Isha’s most awaited annual occasion, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors to Coimbatore each year, as noted in the statement.
For the first time, Sadhguru will present the Midnight Mahamantra (Aum Namah Shivaya) Initiation, a chant that promotes ultimate well-being. Following this, Sadhguru will lead attendees in Shambho Meditation during Brahma Muhurtham at 3.40 am, regarded as the prime moment for spiritual practices aimed at transcending physical existence.
Additionally, Sadhguru will launch a complimentary meditation app, Miracle of the Mind. This app features a 7-minute guided meditation with Sadhguru, designed to help individuals develop a daily meditation routine that fits their lifestyle.
A range of celebrity performers will entertain throughout the 12-hour event. The lineup includes the renowned music composer duo Ajay-Atul, famed for their contributions to Hindi and Marathi cinema; celebrated Gujarati folk artist Muktidan Gadhvi; popular rapper Paradox; and CassMae, a visually impaired musician, affectionately dubbed the “German daughter of India” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The night will also feature multi-regional drummers, including Puneri Dhol, Punjabi Dhol, and drummers from Tamil Nadu, in addition to multi-regional vocalists such as Satyaprakash Dharmar, Addula Jengi Reddy, M.V. Shubha, and Anoop, along with performances from Sounds of Isha and Isha Samskriti.
