Patna, Nov 6 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a fierce critique of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav during a rally in the Ramnagar block of Bihar's West Champaran, accusing him of engaging in numerous scams and serious misconduct throughout his political career.

Shah claimed that Lalu has been associated with multiple scandals, stating, “Lalu Prasad Yadav has been involved in a multitude of corrupt activities including the fodder scam, land-for-jobs scam, hotel sale scam, bitumen scam, flood relief scam, recruitment scam, and even massacres.”

Addressing the subject of infiltrators, Shah targeted both the RJD and Congress for purportedly providing them cover.

“Should we remove infiltrators from Bihar's voter list or not? Recently, Rahul Gandhi initiated a ‘Save the Infiltrators’ campaign, advocating for their retention on the voter rolls. These infiltrators are taking jobs from our youth, claiming rations meant for the underprivileged, and compromising national security,” Shah remarked.

“From the historic land of Ramnagar, I assert: Rahul Gandhi can conduct as many marches and press conferences as he wishes — the BJP is committed to eliminating every last infiltrator from across the nation and Bihar,” he declared.

On the electoral timeline, Shah reminded voters of the upcoming phases and the counting date.

“Today marks the first phase of voting in Bihar, with the second phase scheduled for the 11th. I have traveled throughout Bihar and reached Ramnagar. The counting will commence at 8 a.m. on the 14th, and by 11 a.m., Lalu and Rahul’s party will be completely vanquished from Bihar,” he asserted.

Continuing his address, Amit Shah expressed confidence that the NDA would regain power in Bihar with a solid mandate.

“Under the guidance of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar, the NDA is poised to form the government in Bihar once more with a significant majority,” he stated.

The Union Minister asserted that the alliance would dominate West Champaran. “In the previous election, we captured eight out of nine seats in West Champaran. This time, I urge you to place all nine seats in the NDA’s basket,” he said.

He referenced the construction of temples dedicated to Ram and Sita while invoking cultural sentiments. “A magnificent Ram Temple has been constructed in Ayodhya. The foundation for the temple of Goddess Sita in Sitamarhi has been laid, and within two years, a splendid temple for Sita Mata will be established at a cost of Rs 850 crore,” he revealed.

Discussing the historical significance of sugar mills in the region, Shah criticized the industrial decline during the era of “jungle raj.”

“West Champaran was once the sugar bowl of eastern India. However, during the jungle raj, due to rampant extortion, sugar mills closed one after another. We have restarted the Riga sugar mill. In the next five years, the BJP and NDA will focus on reopening all the defunct sugar mills,” he added.
