Patna, March 30 (NationPress) The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, took aim at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav during a public gathering in Gopalganj, urging the citizens of Bihar to choose between the NDA's development and the lawlessness associated with the RJD in the forthcoming state elections.

Shah accused Lalu Prasad Yadav and his party of corruption, lawlessness, and blocking Bihar's progress, while asserting that the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections will be contested under the guidance of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.

“The people of Bihar must decide between the NDA's growth and the lawlessness of the RJD in the upcoming Assembly elections. They must choose whether to revert to the jungle raj of Lalu-Rabri or to continue on the path of development set by Modi and Nitish Kumar,” he stated during his speech.

The Home Minister further claimed that PM Modi’s administration has been dedicated to Bihar’s advancement, while the Congress has let Bihar down for the past 65 years.

Amit Shah assured that the NDA would make Bihar flood-free if granted another five-year term. He also introduced plans for a Ramayana Circuit in Bihar and a magnificent temple dedicated to Mata Sita.

The Home Minister criticized Lalu Prasad Yadav for “plundering” Bihar through various “scams”, stating, “Lalu Prasad Yadav shows no shame. He embezzled fodder meant for cattle and was involved in the tar scam. His administration only facilitated extortion, ransom, and kidnapping.

He also condemned the RJD's land-for-job scheme, questioning: “Should Bihar again trust those involved in corruption? Should it turn to those who exchanged land for jobs?”

He ridiculed Lalu Prasad Yadav for prioritizing his family's political ambitions over the future of Bihar’s youth.

“Lalu Yadav has only accomplished one thing—establishing his entire family in power. Now his son aspires to be CM, but he never considered how to support Bihar’s youth,” he remarked.

He commended PM Modi for generating job opportunities and empowering the youth of Bihar.

Amit Shah’s rally in Gopalganj has set the stage for a heated contest between the NDA and RJD in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. With Modi and Nitish Kumar at the forefront, the NDA is gearing up to confront Lalu Yadav’s influence and strengthen its foothold in Bihar ahead of the 2025 elections.
