Patna, Oct 17 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah commenced the NDA’s election strategy for the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday in Saran district.

Speaking to a large audience in Taraiya block, Shah launched a fierce critique of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, urging the public to reject the revival of the Jungle Raj era.

“I want to remind the youth of Bihar about the Jungle Raj that plagued us 20 years ago and encourage them to commit to fighting against it. We must ensure that those who brought about that period of terror and lawlessness never attain power again. There is no better place than Saran-Chhapra to make this call,” Shah stated.

He underscored that the battle against Jungle Raj persists, confidently declaring that the NDA will secure the government in Bihar with its largest majority in two decades.

“Nitish Kumar’s battle was against Jungle Raj then, and our battle remains against it today. The NDA is contesting the Bihar elections under Nitish Kumar’s guidance, while our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads the NDA nationally,” Shah proclaimed.

Taking a jibe at the RJD, Shah remarked that the party’s ticket distribution showcased its outdated mentality.

“I reviewed the RJD’s candidate list — Shahabuddin’s son is included. If the RJD continues to endorse Shahabuddin’s son, how can Bihar be safe? To ensure Bihar’s safety, we must have a government led by Modi and Nitish Kumar,” he asserted.

Shah also highlighted the significance of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, commending Prime Minister Modi’s role in realizing a long-standing aspiration.

“For 550 years, Lord Ram Lalla resided in a humble abode in his birthplace. In 2019, Prime Minister Modi conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ram Temple and oversaw its grand construction. A magnificent temple dedicated to Goddess Sita is also under construction in Punaura Dham, Sitamarhi,” he noted.

Shah enumerated significant accomplishments of the NDA government in Bihar under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

“Nitish Kumar’s administration has done remarkable work. It provides 125 units of free electricity to 1.67 crore families and has raised pensions for the elderly, widows, and disabled individuals to Rs 1,100. Both PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar have credited Rs 10,000 to each Jeevika sister’s account. Today, the infrastructure in Bihar has advanced so significantly that one can traverse the entire state in just five hours,” Shah stated.
