New Delhi, Dec 26 (NationPress) Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah commemorated 'Veer Bal Diwas' on Friday, honoring the legacy of freedom fighter Shaheed Udham Singh on his birth anniversary.
In a message shared on X, HM Shah praised the indomitable spirit of martyr Udham Singh, who exhibited extraordinary bravery in avenging the lives lost in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
He highlighted Singh's significant role in propagating the Indian freedom movement abroad through the Ghadar movement.
The Union Minister emphasized that Singh's story of courage serves as an endless source of motivation for the nation’s youth, fostering a deep-rooted love for their homeland.
Additionally, HM Shah paid homage to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Gujri, and the heroic Sahibzadas during 'Veer Bal Diwas', reflecting on their sacrifices.
In a separate post on X, the Union Home Minister remarked that the sacrifices made by the sons of Guru Gobind Singh at such a tender age for the defense of faith and nation are unparalleled in history.
