Raushan Anand, following his release from Beur Jail in Patna, on Monday, 15 June levelled a series of grave allegations against educator Faisal Khan — widely known as Khan Sir — accusing him of orchestrating a conspiracy to kill Anand inside jail and of being linked to the suspicious death of Anand's brother, Prince Yadav, in Nepal. The allegations, made at a press conference at Anand's Gyan Bindu Coaching Institute, have significantly deepened the bitter dispute between rival coaching institutes in Patna.

Alleged Conspiracy Inside Beur Jail

Anand claimed that two security guards associated with Faisal Khan were sent to Beur Jail and allegedly attempted to kill him on the premises. He alleged his life was spared only due to the timely intervention of jail authorities. According to Anand, on 13 June, one of the guards allegedly pressured him to reach a settlement, warning of serious consequences if he refused.

Anand directly linked those alleged threats to the subsequent death of his brother, Prince Yadav, whose body was recovered from a hotel room in Biratnagar, Nepal, under suspicious circumstances. He alleged that nothing had happened to Prince Yadav while he was outside jail, but events took a tragic turn after he was incarcerated.

Brother's Death and Demand for CBI Probe

Anand repeatedly maintained that his brother's death was not natural but part of a larger conspiracy. He accused Faisal Khan and R.S. Prasad of plotting both his imprisonment and the alleged murder of Prince Yadav. He demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe and called for a fresh post-mortem examination into the death.

Authorities in Nepal are already investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Back in Bihar, grief engulfed Dhamsaina village in Saharsa after Prince Yadav's body arrived at his ancestral home. His mother strongly rejected claims that he suffered from illness or substance use, maintaining that her son was healthy and that his death resulted from a conspiracy tied to the ongoing dispute. She further alleged that she had been prevented from speaking to her son after the morning of the incident and was repeatedly told by those accompanying him that he was asleep after taking medicine for a fever.

Allegations of Political Protection

Anand alleged that Faisal Khan was receiving political protection, which he claimed explained why police had not arrested Khan despite allegations related to firing and conspiracy. He alleged that large sums of money had been spent to ensure his imprisonment and that influential individuals were shielding Khan. However, he did not publicly name any politician.

Anand also alleged that the landlord associated with the coaching premises supported Faisal Khan due to financial dealings, and called for an investigation into alleged financial transactions and assets linked to the matter.

Background: The Coaching Institute Dispute

The controversy stems from a 2 June incident involving alleged stone-pelting, vandalism, and firing at Khan Global Studies. Anand had been arrested in connection with that case before securing bail. After his release, he went directly from jail to his coaching institute, where large numbers of students had gathered and supporters raised slogans against Faisal Khan.

The dispute between the two institutes has become a major issue of public discussion across Bihar. Police investigations are continuing on both sides of the India-Nepal border, while demands for a higher-level probe into both the coaching dispute and Prince Yadav's death are intensifying.
