Jaipur, Nov 27 (NationPress) In a significant achievement, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Rajasthan has successfully apprehended Pradeep Gurjar, an important member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the notorious leader of the '6161 gang'.
As reported by officials, Pradeep, son of Data Ram and a resident of Rawaton Ki Dhani, Ward No. 15, Kotputli, was captured in an upscale housing society in Gurugram during a meticulously orchestrated operation. Dinesh MN, the Additional Director General of Police for the AGTF, stated that the 6161 gang is notorious for extensive extortion activities, particularly targeting hotel proprietors along major highways.
This arrest represents a crucial victory in the state’s ongoing battle against organized crime and the expanding influence of the Bishnoi gang.
The gang’s origins can be traced back to Bhilwara, initially led by Hari Tanwar and later taken over by Vinod Mandli.
In this criminal network, Pradeep Gurjar served as a vital link to Sachin Thapan, a close ally of the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He was instrumental in recruiting young individuals from Kotputli, Behror, Bansur, Bhilwara, and Gurgaon.

Ultimately, Pradeep was tracked to a residence in the luxurious MR Palm Hill society within the jurisdiction of the Kherki Daula police station. To maintain discretion, AGTF personnel positioned themselves at various checkpoints throughout the society.

Upon confirming the suspect's location, the team executed a rapid raid and successfully captured Pradeep at the flat.
