Jaipur, April 5 (NationPress) A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Aditya Jain, a resident of Kuchaman, was brought before the court in Kuchaman City on Saturday under stringent security measures.
An official reported that the entire court area was secured during his appearance, with a significant presence of police personnel throughout the vicinity.
Aditya, transported from Jaipur under special security protocols, was initially taken to the Kuchaman police station for essential legal formalities.
Following this, he was presented in front of the court, which subsequently placed him in judicial custody.
The official added that police requested permission to arrest him under a protection warrant in Case No. 403, which the court granted.
According to ADG Crime Dinesh MN from the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), Aditya Jain, also known as Tony, is an active participant in the extortion network managed by the notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara, both currently imprisoned in Gujarat.
Aditya has seven criminal cases filed against him across different districts in Rajasthan. These include severe crimes such as kidnapping, rape, extortion through intimidation, possession of illegal weapons, and facilitating communication for incarcerated criminals, as well as identity fraud.
He is also a suspect in a high-profile extortion case involving the collection of crores from five businessmen in Kuchaman.
Earlier, the Kuchaman Police had arrested four individuals - Shafiq Khan, Faheem Pathan, Soyeb, and Sarfaraz alias Vicky. Aditya Jain, along with Rohit Godara and Virendra Charan, was named among the wanted criminals.
“We thoroughly coordinated with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and SpiceJet for the deportation of Aditya Jain from Dubai to Jaipur,” stated ADG of Crime Dinesh MN in an interview.
Aditya was arrested by the AGTF Rajasthan team in Dubai and flown to Jaipur on Friday morning.
ADG Dinesh mentioned that Aditya, a critical player in the gang, was allegedly managing the gang's “control room,” providing communication support and overseeing call facilities for other gang members.
“He is wanted in numerous cases of extortion, shooting incidents, and other crimes committed by the gang over the years,” added Dinesh MN.
