Representatives from various recognized political parties took part in this dialogue.
Among the national parties were the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)], and the Indian National Congress.

The Election Commission assured all parties that their recommendations would receive thorough consideration.
The Commission reaffirmed its dedication to conducting elections in a free, fair, inclusive, and non-violent manner, strictly following constitutional principles and the Model Code of Conduct.
The Assam Assembly elections are anticipated in 2026, with the Commission expected to announce the election schedule in the upcoming weeks.
