Will Ayodhya Ram Mandir Provide Devotees a 3D Experience of Temple Rituals?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Ayodhya, Feb 18 (NationPress) Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir is preparing to offer a stunning 3D experience of temple rituals, such as puja, aarti, and darshan of 14 temples. This groundbreaking initiative is designed for devotees who cannot physically visit the temple, allowing them to virtually partake in the rituals as if they were on-site at the museum.
In a statement to the media, Shri Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra mentioned that plans are in motion to establish a significant gallery within the museum complex.
"A session was conducted at the museum, and another meeting is scheduled for today. A major gallery is under development to provide devotees with a 3D experience of the temple rituals, featuring puja, aarti, and darshan of 14 temples. This 3D video will enable those unable to visit in person to enjoy it virtually, simulating a physical presence in the museum," Mishra explained.
He elaborated that this project aims to help devotees feel a connection to the temple, even during peak crowd times when entry may be challenging.
"They will experience the feeling of being in the temple while accessing all pertinent information about it. This initiative responds to crowding issues, allowing people to engage with the temple's essence from wherever they are. This work will be entrusted to a reputable agency capable of executing it effectively," he noted.
Additionally, Mishra revealed plans for two other galleries as part of the museum’s expansion. One will delve into the legal history surrounding the Ram temple, while the other will showcase archaeological discoveries from the site.
"The upcoming galleries will detail the legal narrative spanning the last 500 years, alongside a gallery exhibiting evidence of the temple's historical existence through archaeological findings. We aim to substantiate the existence of the Ikshvaku Vansh's palace with solid evidence," he stated.
Meanwhile, Ayodhya’s economy has experienced a remarkable revival post the consecration of the Ram Temple, with visitor numbers soaring to an estimated 11 crore in just six months, resulting in a fivefold increase in local trader income.
A study titled “The Economic Renaissance of Ayodhya, India: A Case Study on Sri Ram Mandir,” conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L), has conducted a comparative analysis of Ayodhya's economic landscape before and following the temple's construction.
According to the study, over 11 crore devotees visited Ayodhya in the first six months after the temple's consecration, significantly boosting local business activity. The report indicated that local traders saw their income multiply fivefold during this period.
Moreover, property values around the Ram Temple surged between five to ten times, with real estate prices climbing by 25 to 40 percent.
