Hyderabad, April 23 (NationPress) The police in Hyderabad have apprehended two individuals from Bangladesh who unlawfully entered India, alongside four accomplices who assisted them in creating forged documents.

Officers from the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone, together with personnel from the Malakpet Police Station, detained Mohammad Hasibul and Rohan Saha, both Bangladeshi nationals.

Hasibul, a 25-year-old food delivery worker from Dhaka, was using the alias Jovan Chowdhury. He and Rohan, who is 21 and works as a laborer, were living in Saleem Nagar Colony of Malakpet.

As per Y.V.S. Sudheendra, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Commissioner’s Task Force, the duo entered India illegally without possessing any valid documentation and had been residing in Saleem Nagar Colony with fabricated documents for illicit purposes.

The authorities also detained four facilitators who were engaged in the creation of counterfeit birth certificates and additional documents for Bangladeshi migrants. The accused are Mohd Muqeed, Temura Sai Kiran, Gaddameedi Rajnikant, and Duddu Sudheer Kumar, all from Hyderabad.

Investigations disclosed that Hasibul had crossed into India four years prior, entering through the Benapole district of Bangladesh. He paid traffickers Rs 25,000 to reach Bongaon in West Bengal. Initially, he resided in South Howrah and worked as a karate instructor. He later acquired a fake Aadhar card under the name Jovan Chowdhury.

In December 2023, he connected with a woman named Jaya Chowdary, a Malakpet resident, via Facebook and deceitfully married her while concealing his true identity. He subsequently relocated to Hyderabad, engaging in an online garment business and continuing as a food delivery agent.

Through the agents, Hasibul obtained a counterfeit birth certificate from Narsingi Municipality in Ranga Reddy District. Sudheer Kumar, a computer operator in the Sanitation Section of Narsingi Municipality, facilitated the creation of this forged document.

Utilizing the fake birth certificate, Hasibul also secured an Indian voter ID and applied for an Aadhaar card.

Last month, he invited his friend Saha, a tourist guide who was illegally in Kolkata, to Hyderabad to assist him and his pregnant wife. Saha was residing with the couple in Malakpet. Hasibul also arranged a counterfeit Aadhaar card for Rohan.

Following credible information, the police arrested the Bangladeshi nationals and their accomplices.

The DCP stated that they confiscated a Xerox copy of Hasibul's Bangladeshi passport, fake Aadhaar cards for both Bangladeshis, a forged birth certificate, an election voter ID for Jovan Chowdhury, seven mobile phones, and a laptop.
