Bengaluru, June 13 (NationPress) - The Bengaluru Police have apprehended a foreign woman involved in drug trafficking within the city on Saturday, seizing 5.325 kilograms of the illicit narcotic MDMA crystal, valued at approximately Rs 10 crore.
The suspect, identified as Princess, was found to have transported MDMA crystals concealed within dress materials from Delhi to Bengaluru via bus, distributing them to local dealers.
On June 10, operatives from the Narcotics Control Squad of Bengaluru City's Central Crime Branch (CCB) acted on credible intel and apprehended the suspect, who was engaged in the illegal trade of narcotics.
She was detained on Rajanukunte Main Road, falling under the jurisdiction of Chikkajala Police Station in Bengaluru.
Following her arrest, officials seized 5.325 kilograms of MDMA crystal, an Apple mobile phone, 11 new churidar dress pieces, and various other items, with a total estimated value of Rs 10 crore, according to police statements.
During her interrogation, the suspect disclosed that she arrived in Delhi on October 4, 2021, on a business visa. She later acquired a student visa, claiming to have enrolled in a college in Telangana, but never attended any classes.
She admitted to engaging in drug trafficking to amass wealth and maintain a lavish lifestyle, indicating that her drug dealings were facilitated through an associate.

Seemant Kumar Singh, the Bengaluru Police Commissioner, emphasized that the CCB and Chikkajala police have made a substantial recovery of MDMA, valued at Rs 10 crore in international markets.
“The suspect arrived in Bengaluru with this substantial consignment. Questions arise regarding how such a large quantity of this illegal substance reached here from such a distant location. We suspect possible intermediary links and are investigating,” stated the Police Commissioner.
“The defendant claims to be a student at a college in Telangana, but our findings indicate no record of her admission there. We are probing further into why this specific college was mentioned,” he added.
“This is a significant quantity and raises serious concerns. The Bengaluru city police, in collaboration with other units and under the guidance of the DG and IGP, are organizing a large rally, seminar, and workshops throughout the city on June 26 to raise awareness about drug abuse,” he stated.
“Our stance against drugs is unwavering. A comprehensive campaign will be launched to ensure that no drugs, regardless of scale, are permitted in the city. We are organizing a major event, as increased awareness will lead to more information,” Police Commissioner Singh affirmed.
