Initial reports indicate that the video might have originated from an alleged gangster situated in Pakistan, although officials have not yet verified its source.
In response to questions from the media, Bihar's Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar confirmed that the police have acknowledged the seriousness of the incident.
He mentioned that the case has been assigned to the Inspector General (IG) of Patna for a comprehensive investigation.
"The IG Patna is gathering all relevant details based on the information that has emerged through social media," stated the DGP.
When asked about the video's origin, DGP Vinay Kumar explained that the matter is currently under technical investigation.
"We are scrutinizing the social media posts, and efforts are being made to identify the location from which the video was uploaded and its true source," he added.

The alleged threat issued by the Pakistani gangster is believed to have followed an incident on Monday where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was observed removing the hijab of a female doctor during an appointment letter distribution ceremony at Samvad Hall in the Chief Minister's Secretariat.
During this event, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to 1,283 AYUSH doctors, including the female doctor, Nushrat Parveen.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Health Minister Mangal Pandey were also present at the ceremony.
Following this incident, the Chief Minister has faced backlash from various sectors, including film actress Rakhi Sawant.
Moreover, a woman has reportedly filed an FIR against Nitish Kumar at a police station in Lucknow.
