Patna, April 16 (NationPress) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched a vehement criticism of the Congress party regarding the National Herald case on Wednesday, accusing Sonia Gandhi of "looting" the nation and "disrespecting" the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
"The Congress party and its Raj Mata Sonia Gandhi have pillaged India. Their Yuvraj Rahul Gandhi has ridiculed democracy," stated the Deputy Chief Minister.
He asserted that the National Herald case signifies a "betrayal" of the country.
"The Congress has undermined the nation. They have exploited institutions established by freedom fighters. The Young Indian Company is stealing from the underprivileged. The court needs to impose strict penalties on them," he emphasized.
Referring to Congress protests at the ED office in Patna, he remarked: "Congress tarnished Manmohan Singh's reputation today. Manmohan Singh established the ED. This is a disgrace to democratic institutions."
In contrast, the Deputy Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ongoing commitment to Bihar.
"PM Modi has made over 100 visits to Bihar since 2014. His initiatives have facilitated the completion of numerous projects. On April 24, new schemes will be launched from Madhubani," he noted.
Additionally, he mentioned that PM Modi has been invited to participate in the Khelo India event on May 4.
"More than 1 crore individuals will have the opportunity to travel through Patna Airport within the next 15 days. Ten new airports are currently under construction in Bihar," he added.
The Deputy Chief Minister also criticized RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. "Every BJP worker is prepared to accept any challenge posed by Lalu Yadav, on any subject, and at any location," he declared.
Regarding the violence in Bengal, the Deputy Chief Minister connected it to the INDIA alliance’s "appeasement" politics.
"The members of the INDIA Alliance are engaged in vote-bank politics. Everyone has witnessed who is accountable for the bloodshed," concluded the Deputy Chief Minister.
