Patna, Nov 6 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, on Thursday drew parallels to the epic Mahabharata, declaring that the elections in Bihar represent a battle between ‘Dharma’ (truth) and ‘Adharma’ (falsehood).
Yadav held three consecutive rallies and engaged in roadshows, advocating for NDA candidates ahead of the second phase of Bihar's Assembly elections.
During these rallies, he criticized the Congress party and its Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of misleading the populace with unfounded claims of “vote theft.”
At a public gathering supporting the BJP candidate in the Bisfi constituency of Madhubani district, Yadav emphasized that the ongoing Assembly election mirrors the Mahabharata war, urging voters to comprehend this critical choice before they cast their ballots.
With a pointed jab at Rahul Gandhi, Yadav remarked that the opposition is aware of its impending defeat in Bihar, prompting Gandhi to make yet another “baseless” assertion regarding “vote theft” in Haryana, aimed at misleading Bihar's voters just a day before the first voting phase.
“Rahul Gandhi fails to explain why the Congress party continues to decline under his leadership, leading him to concoct new excuses. However, the truth is known to the people,” asserted Mohan Yadav.
While addressing another rally in Darbhanga, he stated that Congress and other opposition factions have questioned the existence of Lord Ram through numerous court affidavits, yet the temple was ultimately constructed in Ayodhya under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Over the past two weeks, I have traveled through various districts in Bihar and sensed a strong wave of support for the NDA. I am confident that the NDA will secure victory in Bihar and that Nitish Kumar will once again be the Chief Minister,” Yadav proclaimed.
The first phase of the Assembly elections in Bihar took place on 121 out of 243 seats on Thursday, with the second phase scheduled for November 11.
The initial voting phase will determine the fate of several key candidates from various political parties, including RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Mangal Pandey, as well as JD(U)’s Shravan Kumar and Vijay Kumar Choudhary.
