Bhopal/Patna, Oct 29 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on Wednesday, conducted three consecutive public rallies in the election-bound state of Bihar and launched a fierce critique of the Opposition INDIA bloc, particularly targeting Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), led by former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
During his address, Chief Minister Yadav asserted that Congress leaders were undermining the existence of Lord Ram by submitting affidavits in the Supreme Court, despite the fact that the Ram temple has been constructed in Ayodhya.
He remarked that the Congress party has offended the sentiments of Hindus, and the residents of Bihar will respond appropriately to their misdeeds.
"Following the Mahakal Lok Corridor in Ujjain, Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi, and the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed to recognizing Mata Sita's birthplace, Sitamarhi in Bihar, as a pilgrimage destination," Chief Minister Yadav stated during a public rally in Bihar.
While campaigning for NDA candidate Mithun Yadav in the Nathnagar Assembly constituency, the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, who is among the star campaigners for the Bihar Assembly elections, asserted that the BJP is the only party that entrusts significant responsibilities to grassroots workers.
Using his own journey as an example, Chief Minister Yadav shared, "No one in my family was involved in politics, but the BJP elevated me from an ordinary member to an MLA and eventually the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Only in the BJP is the hard work of a common party worker recognized."
He further emphasized that Bihar has historically been a beacon for India and continues to thrive under divine blessings.
"Bihar is the homeland of Lord Buddha and Mahavir, who illuminated not just the nation but the entire globe," he articulated.
The soft-spoken Mohan Yadav, who unexpectedly ascended to the top role in December 2023, is being positioned as the BJP's face to counter Tejashwi Yadav's sway over the influential Yadav community in Bihar. He noted that very few Yadav families reside in Ujjain South (Assembly seat), yet he triumphed in the recent Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.
The presence of Chief Minister Yadav signals a strategic move by the BJP to penetrate the RJD's Yadav vote base, which has remained largely unchanged since the 1990s.
Polling for all 243 Assembly seats in Bihar is scheduled for two phases on November 6 and 11, with results to be announced on November 14, according to the Election Commission.
