RJD leader Bagi Kumar Verma, former Bihar minister, dies at 77 in Delhi
Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar minister Bagi Kumar Verma passed away on Monday night, 11 May 2025, at the age of 77 while undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. His death has sent a wave of grief across Jehanabad and Arwal districts, where he had deep political roots.
Final Farewell at RJD Party Office
Verma's mortal remains were brought to the RJD party office, where leaders and workers gathered to pay their last respects. Party members, visibly grief-stricken, offered floral tributes in a sombre atmosphere.
RJD National Working President Tejashwi Yadav, State President Mangani Lal Mandal, and senior leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui, among others, garlanded the mortal remains and paid homage.
