Kolkata, April 13 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal has alleged that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is disseminating false and misleading reports through the media, claiming they are based on fictitious "internal surveys" of the BJP ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
In a statement released on social media, the BJP's state unit asserted that no such internal survey has been conducted and accused the ruling TMC of spreading misinformation out of fear regarding the forthcoming elections.
“There is no internal survey from the Bharatiya Janata Party. The significant support for the BJP in West Bengal has evidently unsettled the Trinamool Congress, prompting them to create such slanderous claims to shift attention from pressing issues,” the statement from the BJP declared.
