Jaipur, Jan 29 (NationPress) Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore condemned the opposition parties for their attempts to politicize the Maha Kumbh Sangam stampede in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, asserting that it was a tragic accident rather than a planned or 'sponsored' event.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
Rathore called for devotees participating in the sacred event to exercise patience and avoid undue haste.
Describing the opposition's actions as 'unethical' and 'condemnable', he urged them to display empathy instead of exploiting the situation for political advantages.
In the context of the Delhi elections, Rathore criticized the Congress party for being opportunistic, pointing out their contradictory positions regarding the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
He noted that the Congress alternates between forming alliances with AAP for elections and opposing them at other times, stating, 'A self-respecting party does not behave like this.'
