Rajasthan BJP Chief: Congress Exploits Ambedkar's Legacy for Political Gains

Jaipur, December 23 (NationPress): Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore on Monday condemned the actions of the Opposition, asserting that the recent turmoil in Parliament, the altercations at Makar Dwar, and the resort to violence are inappropriate for public representatives.
He voiced his dissatisfaction, recalling that he was present alongside BJP MPs at the Parliament gate during the incident, which he termed unfortunate.
State BJP President Rathore underscored that the Congress party is protesting over irrelevant matters, while the populace is well aware of the facts.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both the Central and state governments are committed to public welfare, the BJP leader stated.
Furthermore, he noted that Opposition leaders have persistently tried to mislead the public regarding the Constitution, B.R. Ambedkar, and reservation policies.
However, he pointed out that Congress has repeatedly disrespected Ambedkar.
He highlighted that while Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi travels abroad to advocate for the abolition of reservations, the BJP has taken meaningful actions to honor Ambedkar.
The BJP has not only developed five pilgrimage sites dedicated to Ambedkar but has also worked towards realizing his ideals, while Congress has merely leveraged his name for political advantage, the BJP leader mentioned.
Rathore emphasized the nation's pride in Prime Minister Modi's recognition, having received the highest civilian honor in Kuwait, a Muslim-majority nation.
This acknowledgment extends beyond Kuwait; over 20 countries have celebrated PM Modi for his global leadership, diplomatic capabilities, and the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family). This signifies the success of PM Modi's robust foreign policy and leadership skills, he added.
The State BJP President assured that the BJP is dedicated to enhancing its organizational framework and addressing public concerns.
He urged party members to stay connected with the public, resolve their issues, and work towards strengthening the party organization.
He also provided insights regarding the forthcoming elections for significant party roles, including Mandal president, district president, state president, and national president, along with the establishment of booth committees.
He stressed that party members would be assigned responsibilities based on their qualifications.
In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the BJP will observe Good Governance Day on December 25 nationwide.
State BJP President Rathore indicated that various events would be organized throughout the state to celebrate this occasion.
Moreover, on December 26, the nation will honor “Veer Bal Diwas” to remember the martyrdom of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the sons of Sikh Guru Gobind Singh. Various activities will be held across the state in their memory, the BJP leader stated.
He also criticized the Opposition's focus on Manusmriti, particularly their reluctance to present it when requested in Parliament, despite claiming that only one copy exists.
He questioned why such a topic is being raised when it lacks relevance in contemporary society and has no place in the Constitution.
The State BJP President urged the Opposition to also address Sharia law, which they openly support but shy away from discussing.
He concluded by emphasizing that debates over irrelevant or outdated issues should not mislead society.
