BJP Initiates Statewide Membership Campaign at 5,628 Locations in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Dec 22 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) commenced its extensive membership campaign, Sangathan Mahaparv, throughout Jharkhand at 5,628 locations, where a significant number of individuals became members of the party.
Many new members were also enrolled online at each location.
BJP state President Babulal Marandi attended the event in Khoro village within his Dhanwar Assembly constituency. In his speech, he remarked on the overwhelming public response. "The enthusiasm of the people for this campaign is evident, as it aims to enhance the party's presence at the grassroots level," he noted.
The state coordinator for the membership drive, Rakesh Prasad, expressed contentment with the turnout, stating, "A considerable number of individuals visited every location on the inaugural day of Sangathan Mahaparv. This remarkable response illustrates the trust people have in the BJP's policies."
Prasad highlighted that the BJP garnered over 84 lakh votes in this year's Lok Sabha elections and more than 59 lakh votes in the state Assembly elections, emphasizing the party's escalating support in Jharkhand.
As part of this initiative, BJP workers will interact with communities at the grassroots level by visiting villages and homes to enlist lakhs of new members.
The campaign saw involvement from senior leaders and officials statewide. BJP’s state Working President Dr. Ravindra Kumar Ray was present at Panchamba in Giridih district, while state General Secretary, Organisation, Karmveer Singh attended in Harmu, Ranchi.
Other notable figures, including Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Kumar Verma, MP Aditya Prasad Sahu, and Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi, actively participated at various locations.
Annapurna Devi, who renewed her membership using the BJP’s toll-free number, encouraged supporters and well-wishers to participate in the campaign. She stressed the necessity of public involvement in fortifying the organization.
The BJP has facilitated membership enrollment for individuals through both online and offline avenues. People can register via the party's toll-free number or through the NaMo app.
