New Delhi, April 17 (NationPress) In the wake of Robert Vadra's third consecutive day of interrogation by ED officials, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a fierce assault on the Gandhi family, labeling Priyanka Gandhi's husband a “crime master” and “bhoo-mafia” (land-mafia).

During a press briefing, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia highlighted the pervasive corruption associated with Congress administrations, detailing how these governments enabled a dubious land transaction for the country's “jijaji” (brother-in-law), resulting in profits exceeding 700 percent in merely four months.

Emphasizing the Narendra Modi government's rigorous stance against corruption, the BJP spokesman stated: “If the illegal Gandhi family has wrongfully taken over farmers' land, it will be reclaimed. No one, including the ‘jijaji’, will evade the law.”

Pointing directly at Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, he remarked: “If you engage in bhom-mafia activities, you will face legal consequences. The husband of Priyanka Gandhi, a crime master and bhom-mafia, is being interrogated like an ordinary citizen by ED agents. This demonstrates the strength of an honest government that the public is witnessing.”

“There is zero tolerance for corruption. Anyone involved in graft will be held accountable, eventually,” he added.

“A fierce battle has been launched against corruption and the corrupt. Some individuals with a fake Gandhi surname believe they are above the law. They must understand that corruption will lead to scrutiny by the authorities,” he further asserted.

Bhatia asserted that Robert Vadra was deeply involved in widespread corruption, benefiting from full support from previous Congress administrations at both central and state levels in securing the dubious land deal.

“Robert Vadra's company Skylight Hospitality acquired 3.5 acres of land for Rs 7.5 crore and made a 700 percent profit within just four months,” he stated.

He additionally remarked that the Gandhi family has always perceived itself as above the law, but that perception is shifting, as they now face interrogation for their alleged misdeeds.

He dismissed allegations of political vendetta behind the ED questioning of Vadra, questioning why he hadn't received any judicial reprieve if the investigations were politically motivated.

The BJP spokesperson also criticized Vadra’s self-proclaimed status as a “mass leader,” asserting that while that may hold true for his supporters, to farmers and the general populace, he is regarded as a ‘bhoo-mafia’ and a highly corrupt individual.

He took issue with Vadra’s purported comments, made after his questioning by the ED, that “when times change, they will also have to answer.”

“Such character traits are typical of those from the 'nakli' Gandhi family,” he remarked.

The BJP leader called on the entire Gandhi family, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and MP Priyanka Gandhi, to address Robert Vadra's unlawful land transactions and to clarify the allegations of corruption surrounding them.
