New Delhi, Jan 30 (NationPress) Emphasizing ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured voters in Delhi that the commitments outlined in the BJP's Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) will be honored by the party's forthcoming government.
During his address at two public gatherings supporting BJP candidates Bhuvan Tanwar from Delhi Cantt and Om Prakash Sharma from Vishwas Nagar, Singh expressed confidence in the party's track record.
He remarked that during the Lok Sabha elections, the Indian populace placed their trust in the BJP, enabling Narendra Modi to secure the Prime Ministerial position for a third term. “The strength of a leader lies in the trust of the people. What one says, one does,” he stated, underscoring PM Modi's effectiveness in delivering on his promises.
“The BJP is a party that keeps its word. If you can point to one instance where we haven’t fulfilled our promises, I will apologize personally. Review our manifestos from 2014 to 2024, and you will see our commitment to our pledges. If we make a promise and keep it, then you should vote for us,” said the Defence Minister.
He noted that after the Congress party's departure, numerous political parties emerged, but none managed to establish a government at the Centre successfully. When they did, it lasted only six months or less. The BJP's support in the last three Lok Sabha elections is a testament to the developmental and welfare initiatives they have implemented.
Rajnath Singh criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stating they came to power promising to implement the Jan Lokpal but are now faltering due to corruption.
“No one has escaped AAP’s deceit; they have let everyone down. Arvind Kejriwal, who entered politics by claiming that ministers should not live in luxury, has built an extravagant ‘Sheesh Mahal’ for himself,” he remarked.
He pointed out that the AAP government has failed to address the water crisis, causing even minor rainfall to inundate Delhi.
Rajnath Singh further asserted, “If you elect a BJP government today, all systems will be enhanced, and Modi's initiatives will be implemented in Delhi. The Ayushman Bharat scheme will be a boon for everyone. Currently, provisions for street vendors exist in India, illustrating the success of Digital India as they now operate with mobile phones.”
