Patna, Dec 27 (NationPress) More than a month has passed since the announcement of the 2025 Bihar Assembly election results, yet the celebrations are alive and well throughout the state. A jubilant victory event took place in Begusarai district on Saturday, where senior leaders and party workers of the BJP commemorated the NDA’s remarkable victory with lively music and dance.Union Minister Giriraj Singh and Bihar Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar were spotted waving handkerchiefs and joining the party's enthusiastic workers as the popular Bhojpuri anthem “Jodi Modi Nitish Ke Hit Ho Gayil” echoed through the air.
As senior leaders participated, party workers situated near the stage also began to wave handkerchiefs and dance, transforming the gathering into a vibrant celebration.
In his address, Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar expressed optimism that the BJP’s electoral triumph would resonate beyond Bihar.
“The trust of the people in West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is declining, and soon the lotus will bloom in West Bengal. A BJP government will rise there under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he stated.
On the topic of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in West Bengal, Dr. Prem Kumar mentioned that the Election Commission would work to identify and expel illegal Bangladeshi nationals during the forthcoming elections. He reiterated that public confidence in the existing West Bengal administration is diminishing.
He also condemned the reported violence against the Hindu community in Bangladesh, describing it as unfortunate and unacceptable.
It is the constitutional and moral duty of the Bangladesh government to safeguard the lives and properties of minorities. “When a nation has constitutional leaders like a Prime Minister and a President, the government must take decisive action,” he emphasized.
Dr. Prem Kumar added that the targeted aggression against Hindus has stirred anger among followers of Sanatan Dharma across India, urging the Bangladesh government to swiftly apprehend those responsible.
This celebration coincided with a ceremony to honor party workers held at the Harsh Garden complex, organized under the guidance of Teghra MLA Rajneesh Kumar.
In his speech, Rajneesh Kumar acknowledged that party workers are the backbone of any organization and commended their contributions to the development of the Teghra Assembly constituency.
“The commitment demonstrated by our workers in advancing Teghra is exceptional,” he noted.
He assured that priorities would remain education, healthcare, infrastructure, electricity, and employment, promising to develop Teghra into a model constituency.
